Frank began his career as a sign painter. He later focused exclusively on billboards, often finishing a 10’ by 36’ billboard in a day. His knowledge of color, design expertise, and tens of thousands of hours with a brush in hand were of tremendous benefit when he took up watercolor in 2010.
Frank’s works have been selected for exhibitions in the Shenzhen International Biennial; Shanghai-Zhujiajiao International Biennial; Shenzhen Small Works International Exhibition; International Watercolor Society Exhibition and Marche d’Acqua in Fabriano, Italy; National Watercolor Society (NWS); Southern Watercolor Society (SW); Florida Watercolor Society (FWS); Adirondacks Watercolor Society, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Louisiana Watercolor Society and the Brevard Watercolor Society. He has achieved signature status in the NWS, SW and FWS.
His paintings have been published in Watercolor Essentials, The Art of Watercolor, American Artist Watercolor, Watercolor Artist, the Orlando magazines and hard copy book Splash: The Best of Watercolor, editions 14,16 & 18. His paintings were selected for the cover of Watercolor Artist and Splash 14.
